This policy explains what the RB Layout app collects, why we collect it, who can see it, and how you can delete it. It covers the RB Layout app for Android and iOS (package name com.realtorsbridge.rblayout) and its API at api.realtorsbridge.com. RB Layout is run by RealtorsBridge.
Your phone number and name, your role in the app, and the layouts, site visits and vouchers you are part of. Photos and videos only when you add them.
No ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and no background location. We do not sell your information.
Delete your account in the app from Profile > Delete account, or ask us at sales@realtorsbridge.com or +91 809 808 1111.
RB Layout is an app for marketing residential plot layouts in Tamil Nadu. It is run by RealtorsBridge, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us").
This policy covers the RB Layout app for Android and iOS (package name com.realtorsbridge.rblayout) and the API the app talks to at api.realtorsbridge.com.
It does not cover the RealtorsBridge website or the RealtorsBridge app. They have their own privacy policy. That includes the website pages where this policy is shown.
Admin: our team, who runs the platform.
Territory partners: people who bring buyers to layouts in their district and book site visits.
Layout owners: owners of the plot layouts that are marketed in the app.
Business owners: local shops and restaurants. They give discount vouchers to buyers who visit a layout, and redeem them by scanning a QR code.
Buyers: people interested in buying a plot.
Anyone can sign up as a buyer with their phone number. Other roles are set up by us. A territory partner or our team may also add you with your name and phone number, for example when you call about a layout, or when you list a layout or a business with us.
Account: your phone number, your name, your role, your district (for partners and business owners) and a profile photo if you add one. We do not ask for your email address or a password.
Sign-in: you sign in with your phone number and a 6-digit code sent by SMS. Our server creates the code and an SMS provider delivers it. Codes expire after 5 minutes. We keep a record of when codes were sent to each number for a short time, to stop repeated requests.
Sessions and security: when you are signed in, we store your session with the IP address and the app details (user agent) it came from. We keep a log of important actions, such as adding a buyer, booking a visit, or giving or redeeming a voucher.
Buyers: the layouts you are interested in and the stage for each one (new, visit scheduled, visit completed, deal closed or not interested), the partner who added you, your site visits (date, time and status), notes the partner writes after a visit, and follow-up reminders.
Vouchers: the offers you were given, each voucher’s code, status, issue date and expiry date. When a voucher is used: the business, the date, the bill amount and the discount.
Layouts: name, address, district, GPS position, photos and videos, and the owner’s name and phone number.
Businesses: name, category, address, the owner’s name and phone number, and the offers it gives.
Photos and videos: only the ones you choose to add, such as a profile photo or photos and videos of a layout. Photos are compressed on your phone before upload, which also removes hidden details such as the location where they were taken.
We do not use analytics, advertising IDs, ads or tracking pixels. We do not send push notifications. We do not read your contacts or your SMS inbox. On Android, the app can offer to fill in the sign-in code from the SMS, and only after you tap to allow it.
To sign you in and keep you signed in.
To show each person the screens and records for their role.
To book and track site visits, and to keep each buyer’s progress on each layout.
To give, show and redeem vouchers, and to stop a voucher being used twice.
To show live layouts to buyers.
To let partners and buyers call or message each other about a visit.
To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and meet legal duties.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Location: used only when someone adds or edits a layout and taps to record its GPS position. The position is saved on the layout. The app does not track your location, and never uses it in the background.
Camera: used to take a profile photo, to take photos and videos of a layout, and for business owners to scan a voucher’s QR code. The QR code is read on the phone and only the voucher code is sent to us. The code can also be typed instead.
Microphone: used only to record sound with a layout video.
Photos and media: used to choose a profile photo, or photos and videos of a layout. The app only gets the items you pick.
Internet: needed to talk to our server.
You can turn these permissions off in your phone’s settings. The feature that needs the permission will then not work.
Admin: everything in the app, in every district.
Territory partners: for buyers in their district, and buyers they added: name, phone number, profile photo, the layouts they are interested in and the stage of each, their visits, visit notes, follow-ups and the vouchers given. They also see their district’s layouts with the owner’s name and phone number, and its businesses and offers.
Layout owners: visits to their own layouts: the buyer’s name, the date and the partner.
Business owners: when a voucher is scanned or used at their business: the buyer’s first name, the offer, the bill amount, the discount and the date. They do not see the buyer’s phone number.
Buyers: their own visits, with the layout and the partner’s name and phone number, and their own vouchers, with the business’s name, category and address. In Explore, buyers see live layouts: name, address, district and photos. Buyers never see a layout owner’s details or other buyers.
If you are a territory partner, your name and phone number are shown to the buyers whose visits you book.
Hosting: the API and its Postgres database run on our own server (a VPS). The database is not open to the internet.
Cloudflare R2 (file storage): photos, videos and logos are stored in Cloudflare R2 and shown from cdn.realtorsbridge.com through public links. Each link is long and random, so it cannot be guessed, but anyone who has the link can open the file. Profile photos are stored the same way. We store only marketing images and profile photos there, never private documents.
Cloudflare R2 (backups): a copy of the database is saved every night to a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. Backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
MSG91 (SMS): receives your phone number and your sign-in code, only to deliver the SMS.
Google: the app downloads its font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your device’s IP address for that request. If you open a layout’s location on the map, it opens in Google Maps.
Phone, SMS and WhatsApp: when you tap to call or message someone, your phone’s own apps handle it, under their own policies.
We may share information if the law requires it, to protect users or the service, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell personal information to anyone.
We keep your account and records while your account is open.
Sign-in codes expire after 5 minutes. A session ends when you sign out, or after 30 days without using the app.
Database backups are kept for 30 days.
When you delete your account, we remove your personal details as described in the next section.
In the app, go to Profile > Delete account. Your account is blocked and you are signed out straight away. It is permanently deleted 30 days later.
If you sign in again within those 30 days, the app offers to cancel the deletion.
When the account is deleted, your name, phone number, profile photo and roles are removed, and so are notes partners wrote about you (site visit feedback and follow-up reminders). Records other people depend on are kept without a link to you and show "Deleted user". These are site visits, voucher redemptions, the history of layouts, and our log of actions.
Copies in our backups are deleted within 30 days, as old backups expire.

All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS).
The app keeps your sign-in token in your phone’s secure storage.
Our server checks your role and district on every request, so you only get what your role allows.
Sign-in is limited: 3 codes per number every 15 minutes, and 5 wrong tries per code. Voucher codes are random and cannot be guessed.
No system is completely secure. Never share your sign-in code with anyone.
RB Layout is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see your personal data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent you gave.
You can change your name and profile photo in the app. For anything else, email sales@realtorsbridge.com or call +91 809 808 1111. We may need to check it is you before we act.
If we do not resolve your complaint, you can contact the Data Protection Board of India.
Some service providers, such as Cloudflare and Google, may process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we take steps so your information stays protected in line with this policy.
We will update this policy when the app changes, for example when we add new features. The new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
